Behind the design: how a frame is made

Eight steps, eight days

Each frame starts as a sheet of plant-based acetate. We cut, mill, tumble-polish for 72 hours, fit hinges by hand, and final-buff with cotton wheels. The result: warmer, lighter, more durable than injection-moulded plastic.
